Luigia Messina
Actress
Born in Limoges in 1996, Luigia Messina began her studies in dramatic art at the CRR under the direction of Michel Bruzat. She also joined Teresa Salerno's contemporary dance class. As soon as she finished her studies, she worked with several directors, including Marcel Bozonnet, former administrator of the Comédie Française, but also choreographers such as Heddy Maalem or Hafiz Dhaou and Aïcha M'Barek.
After two years with the Théâtre du Riscochet Nantais, where she mainly performed the pioneers of the boulevard (Georges Feydeau, Georges Courteline...etc), she joined the Ornicar collective in 2017 in Paris for the creation of the play Jeux d'Adultes. She is also a member of the drama specialization cycle class at the Conservatoire du Xème arrondissement in Paris. Passionate about directing, Luigia Messina directs La langue des Cygnes, a musical tale by Olivier Bellamy performed by himself and set to music by pianist Ismaël Margain.
In parallel to the stage, she leads several theatre workshops for both amateur and professional audiences.
