Marion Tassou entered the mastery of Nantes opera at the age of 9, where she discovered the lyrical repertoire and it was quite naturally that she returned to the Conservatoire National de Région de Nantes in Maryvonne Jaffré's class. She continued her singing studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon in the class of Isabelle Germain and Fabrice Boulanger, where she obtained her prize with distinction in 2008, unanimously and with the congratulations of the jury. At the same time, she studied with musical personalities such as Donatienne Michel-Dansac, Cécile de Boever and Alain Garichot as well as the Masterclasses of François Leroux and Udo Reineman.

 

Passionate about vocal art in its diversity, Marion Tassou explores all the expressive possibilities of the voice, from early music to contemporary repertoire. She first performed in Wolf Ferrari's Il Segreto di Susanna (Suzanne), Le Carnaval et la Folie de Destouches (Venus), Le Pierrot Lunaire de Schönberg, La Fiancée vendue (Marienka) and Die Zauberflöte (Pamina). She also plays Pauline (La vie Parisienne) in Montpellier, Blanche de La Force (Dialogues des Carmélites) with the Atelier Lyrique des Pays de Savoie, Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) as well as Zerlina (Don Giovanni) at the Festival de Saint Céré and on tour in France with the company Opéra éclaté, Eurydice (Orphée et Eurydice) at the Opéra de Limoges. She is a member of the Académie de l'Opéra Comique in Paris during the 2013/14 season. The 2014/15 season is marked by his debut as Ilia (Idomeneo) at the Opéra de Montpellie and by his participation in the creation of Dominique Pauwels' L'autre hiver with the LOD Muziektheater company, as part of "Mons, Capitale européenne de la Culture".

 

In concert, he was recently heard in Béatrice et Bénédict (Héro) at the Berlioz Festival in La Côte Saint André, conducted by François-Xavier Roth, Tamerlano (Irène) at the Poznan Festival with Les Ambassadeurs and Alexis Kossenko and in Handel's Le Messie on tour in France with the Ensemble Matheus and Jean-Christophe Spinosi.
