Marie Salvat

Violin I Singer I Ukulele

Marie Salvat began violin at the age of 7 at the CRR of Perpignan in the class of Monique Durand; at 15, she went to Paris to study in the class of Suzanne Gessner, and returned first nominated to the CNSM of Paris in the class of Patrice Fontanarosa two years later.after a stay at the Müsikuniversität in Vienna, she validated her Master at the Royal College of Music in London in the class of Yossi Zivoni.

 

Winner of numerous prizes (2nd prize in the International Competition for Young Performers of Canet, Mozaic Prize of Crédit Agricole, 3rd prize in the Vatelot Competition, Public Prize for Meetings in Arcachon), she took advantage of her studies to explore various worlds: the orchestra (conducted by Vladimir Jurowski, Daniele Gatti, Christoph Eschenbach, Kurt Masur, Pierre Boulez, Susanna Mälkki; trainee at the Orchestre National de France, Orchester Akademie Ossiach in Austria, Lutoslawski Youth Orchestra in Poland), jazz (with Chris Garrick in London), viola (with Bruno Pasquier) chamber music (Ysaye quartet class).

 

Always eager to embark on new adventures, she trained in variety singing (ACP manufacture chanson), music therapy (C.I.M) and joined Ecla Théâtre as a violinist actress in La Flûte Enchantée and Pierre et le Loup.
