First Prize in the Epernay String Competition, and first Prize in Lyric Singing by Paolo Barbacini, Pauline Lazayres, is a passionate double bassist and singer.
 
Singer, Pauline Lazayres has participated in several roles: Wendy in Patrick Burgan's opera Peter Pan at the Théâtre Zingaro, title role in Patrick Burgan's Ophélia creation at the Théâtre du Châtelet, role of the hen in the little Fox Rusée at the Opéra Bastille then at the Opéras de Bordeaux, Lille, Besançon... Appointed to the Orchestre National d'Ile de France in 2014 as a double bassist, Pauline Lazayres also plays with the Orchestre de l'Opéra national de Paris, the Philharmonique de radio France, the Orchestre de Paris, the Orchestre d'Auvergne, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris...

She has also recorded numerous recordings: in a Quintet with Pierre Lenert and the Soloists of the Orchestre l'Opéra National de Paris, or the Concert Idéal with Marianne Piketty and Emmanuelle Bertrand.
