In 2012, Sarah Lancman received the First Prize of the SHURE Jazz Vocal International Competition of the Montreux Festival awarded and chaired by Quincy Jones.
Sarah Lancman is an accomplished musician, pianist and composer. Today, she is one of the finest singers to discover.
She started playing the piano at the age of 7 and started with classical and jazz training at the Conservatoire du Centre in Paris.
She discovered a passion for composition and arrangement and in 2013 obtained her Bachelor's degree in composition at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne (HEMU) - Jazz Department in jazz piano (Emil Spanyi) and singing (Susanne Abbuehl).
Since then, she has performed in France, Switzerland and Germany at various festivals such as: Les hivernales du Jazz, Jazz Atlantique, Montreux, Verbier, Ascona ,Blue Balls, Burghausen,...
In April 2015, Sarah Lancman was invited by pianist Giovanni Mirabassi to participate in the International Jazz Day at UNESCO.
His first album Dark produced by Blew Records has been available since January 2015.
His new album "Inspiring Love", co-written with Giovanni Mirabassi, has just been recorded in New York in December 2015 with jazz stars such as drummer Gene Jackson and trumpeter Alex Sipiagin and will be released soon.
