Raphaël Aubry I Violin

After winning two first prizes in violin and chamber music at the CNR in Versailles, Raphaël Aubry continued his musical studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory where he obtained a first prize in violin in Jean-Jacques Kantorow's class.
 
Laureate of the Cziffra Foundation, member of the Gaudi Quartet (2000-2009), quartet in residence at the Abbaye de la Prée (2001-2002), he also receives instruction from Valentin Berlinsky (Borodin Quartet) and follows the ProQuartet course.
 
Raphaël Aubry has performed as a chamber musician in numerous venues and festivals, both in France and abroad, including the Rencontres Musicales de La Prée, the Accademia delle crete senesi, the Opera comique de Paris, the Théâtre de Poissy, the Abbaye de Noirlac, the Abbaye de Fontmorigny, salles Gaveau and Cortot, the Fêtes romantiques de Nohant, at the Arsenal in Metz, the Saint Bonnet Theatre, the Grand Théâtre de Limoges, the Festival International des deux Mondes, the Théâtre des Champs Elysées, the Festival du Maurier in Montreal, the Hollywood Ball in Los Angeles with artists such as Ludmila Berlinskaïa, Jean-Marc Luisada, Caroline Sagemman, Frédéric Laroque, Philippe muller, Romain David, Juan Jose Mosalini, Inva Mula.
 
Sensitive to the practice of early music on period instruments, Raphaël Aubry plays with artists such as Christophe Coin ,Ageet Zweistra, David Glidden, the Edding Quartet ,the Cambini Quartet.
 
Raphaël Aubry regularly performs with the Ensemble orchestral de Paris, the Cercle d'Harmonie and the Opéra National de Paris.
